Ms Haja Salifu is a Board of Director of ENPAD (European Network of People of African Descent). She is passionate about history, community, advocacy, and education, she invests her time and skills in ensuring that communities can generate a sustainable, ethical income from their farming. In 2006, Haja set up a charity in memory of her grandfather, Chief Superintendent Salifu Dagarti who made the ultimate sacrifice when Ghana’s first President was attacked. She set up Dagarti CIC with support from Northampton University, as a vehicle to empower communities to use natural resources to create a sustainable income as a route out of poverty and dependence. Haja is interested in removing the structural barriers to development so she joined the Global Afrikan Congress UK as a trustee in order, to lever in the support of a Global Movement. She also joined the Board of IDPAD Coalition UK to support Diasporans in the UK to engage with the UN International Decade of People of African Descent, network with like-minded organisations so that Recognition, Justice and Development have an impact on the lives of African Communities. 

She is reliable, organised with good time managements skills. She is passionate about making a difference within Communities not just hers and well understands the needs of people at disadvantage and wants to use her skills as a human rights activist, community development, agriculturist, and entrepreneur to make sure the next generation has enviable life chances.
